I’m sure you’ve said before but what’s a sneaky sneaky made out of?

Interesting.
For me the game held a nostalgic appeal – the setting, combat, and even the protagonist’s appearance have some similarities to Oni.
Oni being a game I adored as a teenager (I think I played it 3 or 4 times back then).
I blasted through it (Remember Me) over a weekend so I never noticed the buttocks physics, or at least not consciously. Admittedly, it wasn’t as good as Oni in story or gameplay, but I still enjoyed it.
I am surprised that none of you mentioned the rape implications that come up a few times in the game (I don’t mean the mind alteration stuff by the way). Those bits caused me slight pause before continuing, it seemed unnecessary for it to be there and I doubt they would have put it in for a male protagonist.
The amnesia and male-voice-guide didn’t really bother me because I’m so used to video game protagonists starting the game with amnesia, and/or having a voice-only companion telling them what to do all the time. I see your point about it being problematic though.
I kind of like that Nilin is morally ambiguous (even if the story seemingly changes its mind about this by the end, without explanation).
Overall, the story and even the protagonist feel, perhaps, unfinished. It feels like the devs were undecided on exactly what they wanted to do and hence certain plot points feel unfinished or as-though they could have been elaborated on further, and Nilin’s character feels inconsistent by the end.
Definitely try and interview some of the devs if you can!
