This week we are joined by guest, Tommi Godwin. Tommi is a veteran, she was an officer, a sentinel, and a woman deployed in Iraq in 2005-2006. She blogged during her deployment and for a bit afterward and it was fucking amazing.

We had the distinct pleasure of talking to Tommi about the depiction of female soldiers in games, the roles of women in the deployment situations, and the importance of human connection and understanding.
